Vintage late 1950s/early 1960s lavender cocktail dress. Sleeveless with v-neckline and full skirt. Lace top layer covers strapless bodice. Lavender silk/acetate ribbon band around natural waistline with bow at center back. Dress consists of lavender taffeta with matching lavender lace overlay. Skirt lace is pleated in 1/2" pleats for movement and fullness. Dress is discolored at bodice and bow due to age (the lavender color faded to blue). The dress also has a rust colored stain down the front and on side and the full pleats of skirt the hide it pretty well. A beautiful evening prom dress in good condition with discoloration throughout.
