Vintage Japanese Art post cards. Fifty-three Stages by Hiroshige Ando Tokyo National Museum on the front of package. Each card tells a story of the city or town that is shown in the phaplet map. Each post card has some English describing the scene. One card reads: Shinagawa (sunrise) 8 km from Nihombashi. The First post town of Tokaido. On the Edo Bay of the "Hiroshige blue' are sail boats and cargo boats; beyond, the sun is about to rise, staining the yonder sky in madder red. Not sure of age, package has faded. Each card has Japanese stamp. All are in good condition with a little yellowing to paper, box has some corners split. 6" x 4"
