1960's Ph.D. Graduation Ceremonial Robe and Hood. Made by Collegiate Cap & Gown co., Champagne, IL. This one is dark shiny blue polyester satinate with Deep Royal Blue Velvet Honor Panels down the front. The sleeves are Renaissance style, heavily puffed with a 7" long cuff. Sleeves also bear blue velvet and gold trimmed honor stripes of academic achievement. The Doctoral hood is Pale Turqoise Velvet With Golden Yellow lining. This gown is in Mint condition.
Size: 51, Extra-Large. Gown is actually approx. 60" around.
