1960's Whiting for Standord University Varsity Jacket. 100% heavy wool weave body with off-white leather sleeves and pocket-trim. Striped ribbed sleeve cuffs, bottom, and collar. Red Whiting heavy-duty snap closures. On left upper front, the thick wool chenille name in italics: Stanford. No holes, no snags, no pulls on the outer wool/leather shell. Interior lining is 100% rayon twill. Lining is worn through around the collar and has a few stains. Jacket needs a serious dry-cleaning, but is in excellent condition.
Size: Medium. Jacket measures exactly 45" around chest, and 40" around base without stretching the ribbing. From center of back neckline to end of turned up sleeve-cuff, 32 1/2" long. From center back neckline to bottom of jacket, 25" long.
