1950's Red Plaid Ike-Style Sports Jacket. After WWII Pres. Eisenhower wore this shorter style and made it popular. 100% virgin wool cardinal red, heather gray and black plaid, tailored front slant pockets are cotton-lined. Brass Talon zipper. Fully lined in brown satin acetate. Frayed lining has been repaired at collar above the label. Jacket bottom has small elastic inserts at sides for close fit. Shoulders crisply padded. An American classic in excellent condition.
