Vintage 1950's Chimayo Jacket. Label by Senorita Maisel's Indian Trading Post, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Made from Chimayo Hand-loomed blanket, 100% wool. Jacket has a sturdy talon zipper closure down the center and two adjustable waist straps next to front pockets. Unique decorative triangle button flaps on corduroy sleeve cuffs. Classy ivory background accents the intricate native design loom work on front and back in colors of navy, red and slate. This rare jacket is deadstock (never been worn) with the original tag intact, however it shows age with a bit of rust discoloration on sleeves and pockets. beautiful, quality made piece of history.
