Vintage 1940s AN-J-3A (also called G-I) Aviators Jacket. WWII Navy version Aviation drum-dyed goatskin leather. This bomber jacket replaced the M-422A in 1943. US is stamped underneath the mouton collar. Worsted wool rib-rack knit waistband and cuffs are in great condition. Button pocket flaps, underarm gussets, Talon nickel zipper with bell pull. Double pleated bi-swing back underarm gussets with ventilation eyelets. Inside snap-shut map/chart pocket. Leather is in good condition with only a couple very minor scuffs. Manufactured by Gordon & Ferguson, Inc. Contract number N288s-32277.
