Vintage 1940's handsome textured double breasted dress suit in midnight navy. Label by Claybrooke Tailored for Meir & Frank. Polished Wool fabric with barely visible herringbone pattern. Upturned notch lapels. Lightly padded broad shoulders and trim fitting waist. Interior jacket lining has wear, frayed edges and worn. Five pocket button fly slacks sit at natural waist. Straight cut legs. Repaired small hole on left sleeve near button and not really noticable. Vintage suit is priced considering some light wear & a few issues but the suit is still very wearable for the age. Pants have a small frayed hole near the back belt loop, threads are still there so it's not a really a hole but close to it. Sturdy interior cotton lining has aged and turned yellow, which is not visible when worn. Button fly, has all original buttons and is not worn at button holes, good shape. Pockets are all strong. Seat of pants have some shine from wear. Lots of extra fabric in hem, waist is 32" and does not have room for letting out. Watch pocket and smooth flat front. Good condition As Is.
