1950s Black Leather Cow Hide Large Bag

Vintage 1950s black leather bag with cow hide detail and embossed leather decorations. These are so interesting, and include a totem poll on the strap that clasps the purse closed; a man or farmer holding a bull on the front of the purse; and a complicated sun medalion flanked by a cactus and a cornstalk on either side, all surrounded by an arrowhead border. "Mecho in Mexico" (Made in Mexico) is embossed on the bottom of the bag. There are two main inside compartments, one zippered pocket between those, and two smaller side zippered pockets. Some of the cow hide on the front of the purse is wearing off. The purse is still in great condition!
Measurements: 8.75" high, 12.5" long, 3" wide at the bottom.
