1950's Nelly Don Shirt-waist Business Dress. A black with minimal white tweed Girl Friday style. Lightweight wool belted classic that buttons down the front. Two pockets hidden in side seams. Dolman or Raglan style sleeves with upturned cuffs. Slimming pleats in front. Tiny knife pleats at back of shirtwaist. Some tiny holes have been well repaired, unnoticeable. Dress is in very good condition. Rhinestone pin sold separately. Early American designer Nelly Don was the first self made female millionaire.
