1940's Faux Peau de Soie and English Netting Gown. The top is faux peau de soie with a romantic Sweetheart neckline. Shoulders are shirred and gathered. Center of bodice is shirred. Sleeves are puffed at the shoulders with little shoulder pads for extra poof. Sleeves are 3/4 long, elbow length. The graceful skirt portion of dress is cut on the bias for extra whirl, made of silky cream acetate. It is covered with two layers of English net. The net is sequined on the front with gold-toned butterflies. Dress zips up the side and ties in the back.
Dress is in excellent condition.
Size: Medium. Dress measures 38" bustline and 30 - 32" waistline. From center of back neckline to hem, dress is 59" long.
