1940's Silk Chiffon Evening Dress. Genuine silk chiffon in deep royal blue and black. Art Deco giant floral motif. Chiffon-skirted over-layer hangs in elegant points for extra float and whirl. Styled to fit smoothly over hipline. Bodice is smocked at bust center & across shoulders. Shoulders & back are sheer, lined in black sheer English net. Lining has 1 repair. Bodice and dress are lined in black satin faille.
Lining and chiffon overdress have separate zippers up the side. Flesh-tone shoulder pads have strap holders. No spots or tears, in Excellent condition.
Size: Medium, with Height. Bustline of dress measures 34" around, waistline 25". Length from waist to bottom hem, 42". From shoulder seam to waistline, 15 1/2" long.
